Dr. A.M.K. Jambulingam is the Founder Chairman of Sree Sastha Institute of Engineering and Technology. A versatile personality with fund of ideas and serve perseverance . Very accessible, flexible and co-operative, he was the founder Treasurer of the Vellore Engineering College and the Vellore Institute of Technology
(a Deemed University) at Vellore.

The very motto of our institute is to provide quality education at reasonable cost. The process of learning is extremely important in life. What you learn, how you learn and where you learn plays a crucial role in developing ones intellectual capability, besides career. Hence on behalf of our Sree Sastha Family, I welcome all of you to Sree Sastha Institute of Engineering and Technology and Sree Sastha Institute of Management and Computer Studies.
Along with academic knowledge Sree Sastha also trains its Engineers and Management Professionals to face the challenges in life by providing many value added courses to enhance their career prospects. The excellent infrastructure, teaching faculty of the best kind ensuring quality education such as interaction among students, parents and staff, along with a Training and Placement Cell ensures a bright future to its students. Thus we are confident that our Engineers and Management Professionals will emerge as assets not only to this institution and to the organization they belong, but also to the country at large.
Sree Sastha Institute of Engineering and Technology had undertaken a massive expansion in terms of development of infrastructure, faculty recruitments, induction of senior advisors and so forth.
We have in the recent past decided to have a three tier approach to faculty induction. Very senior Mentors or Advisors from the IITs and Anna University, who by their past experience are invited to join us as Advisors or Mentors to help plan the future growth of the departments.
We are also inviting a large number of visiting faculties to offer special lecturers to augment the syllabi, in the various disciplines.
A multi-storeyed hostel building and new academic blocks are under construction, some of them to be ready by June 2009.
A variety of soft skill programs are being offered to our third and final year students, which could help them, in their search for better industry placement.

Prof. J.Karthikeyan is the Vice Chairman of Sree Sastha Institute of Engineering and Technology has widely traveled and has a hand on exposure in running Industrial Units and is equally exposed to running and organizing academic Institutions. A Member of 17 Professional and Scientific Societies, has attended numerous Conferences / Seminars on Education, Leadership Management and Industry. He was on Special Educational Mission to Singapore, Malaysia in April 2007 and later to China (Beijing, Shenyang and Shanghai in June 2007. He has also attended an International Conference on “Assuring the Quality of National and Transnational Higher Educational Programs : an International Perspective”.

As we step in to our 11th year, our hearts full of expectations for the future, we look back into the bygone era of Sree Sastha Institute of Engineering and Technology with a feeling of achievement.
Our ISO certification in the year 2003 ensures that we keep our self updated with the recent developments in providing quality education to all our students. This quest for quality is a continuous process and our filing the application for NBA in 2004 proves the point, that quality is the epitome around which this institution revolves.
This special care and nurture given to each individual enables an overall development of our students to turn as technocrats.
The quantum leaps in science and technology demands more of our dedications and devoted pursuit in all branches of Engineering so that our efforts are fruitful. The present age has become 'virtual' from the speedy and Engineering Sciences has much more to contribute to man-kind. Needles to say, what was impossible in the past has become a fact in the present and let us hope we will achieve more in the future with confidence and joy.

Dr. K R Senthil Kumar, PRINCIPAL obtained his B.E. (Mechanical) from AnnamalaiUniversity, Chidambaram, M.E. (Automobile) from AnnaUniversity and Doctoral Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai. His fields of specialization are Turbulence studies in the Diesel Engine combustion, Fuel additives for enhancement of performance and Emissions characteristics in Diesel Engines, Alternative fuels for Diesel Engines, Electronic controls in Automobiles, In-cylinder Turbulence inducement Techniques and CFD applications in Diesel Engines. He is a Life Member in the Indian Society of Technical Education, the Combustion Institute and Indian Society for Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers. He has experience in Teaching UG and PG courses and has guided more than 30 batches of UG Projects, 4 PG projects and guiding PhD scholars. The project guided by him has won II place in the 10th students National ISTE convention project contest during October, 07. He has published research papers in various National and International Conferences and in Journals. He has organized work shops and conferences and Faculty Development Programs sponsored by AnnaUniversity, AICTE and ISTE in his fields on specialization.
Sree Sastha is striving to become a leader among those institutions, where faculty and staff define and expand the frontiers of knowledge and innovations.
Our Institute aspires to foster not only academic excellence but also seek to inbibe in students moral and social values to mould citizens of character with an integrated personality. Technical education has seen dramatic changes in the last decade. Not only it is becoming more sophisticated, with new technology paradigm shifts, but it is also acquiring several qualitative changes. In such a scenario, institutions imparting such education has necessarily to bring in the best quality of inputs and incorporate technological developments as well as human resources skills.
