The College is committed to promote sports activities towards the all-round growth of its students. The campus has 6000 sq. ft. In-Door facilities for Chess, Carom, Table Tennis and Out-Door facilities for Volley Ball, Foot Ball, Tennis, Ball Badminton and we have two qualified Physical Education Staff to train the students.
Students are sent for participation in Inter Collegiate Sports and Games have won various trophies in many events. Our Volley ball team is an unbeaten State Champion and won many tournament in national level inter- collegiate matches.
The college has a 440 mater tract, a football field, a Cricket field and courts for Valley Ball and Badmintan. Some of our students have also won medals and shields in various byants.
There is a Gym provided with latest exacting and body building codgets. We are conducting Annual Sports day and distribute prixes to winners in various competitions and award rolling shields.

A seminar on “Investing in smoking in harvesting Cancer” an anti tobacco campaign was conducted on 18.02.10. Dr. Prema, Psychologist from Tobacco Cessation Centre delivered useful speech and explained the students about the ill effects of tobacco. |

The NSS unit conducted Special Camping Programme in the adapted village, Thiruvandavar village, near chengalpattu, from 07.01.2010 to 13.01.2010 successfully.
On behalf of the 40th NSS day Celebration the unit cleaned the campus on 24.09.09. The NSS volunteers participated with dedication and cleaned the college campus with enthusiasm.
The NSS unit has cleaned and planted samplings in Arichar Anna Govt Hr Sec School, Poonamalle, Chennai, 600 056. On 21.11.09.
Part of our NSS volunteers volunteered in different Polio centres in the Chennai city in the second phased of Pulse Polio Immunization on 07.02.10. The volunteers administered polio drops to the children and organized the function well.

A seminar on “Benefits on Blood donation both for donors and Recipient”, was Conducted on 18.03.2010. Lion’s club member Mr. Suresh delivered the speech.
The NSS unit along with Lions club of Chennai Greater organized “Blood Donation Camp” successfully on 12.04.1010. Dr. Siva Raman of Lions Club took charge and organized the camp. A total of 207 units of blood was collected on that day. |
