Internet Facility:
 
Internet access (64 kbps leased line through RF from STPI, Chennai) is made available to the students for their laboratory courses and staff members for their research and other career developing activities.

Computer Lab:
 

The college has a well-established computer lab equipped with latest computer hardware, software and state of the art networking.

The Computer lab is spread over 4015 sq.ft. Fully air conditioned, has two main sections (lab1&lab2 with a separate sever room housing 100 Clients (Pentium III 60 nos& Pentium IV-40nos HP Compaq) and 6 Pentium IV servers. The Clients are equipped with 128MB, 40GB IDE Hard Disk and Servers with 256 MB RAM, 80GB SCSI Hard Disk. Both clients and servers are provided with Colour Monitors (15 & 17 inches).

The distinct feature of the lab is the structured cabling with all machines having 100mbps NIC and the networking implemented using INTEL/DLINK high-speed switches. Unique feature of the lab is the 600 LPM LIPI Line printer for the bulk printing and Laser, Inkjet (colour) and Dot Matrix Printers catering other printing requirements. All the computers are provided with a backup for 2 hours through an uninterrupted power supply (UPS)

   
 
   

Peripherals & Interfacing Laboratory:

 

Peripherals and Interfacing Lab is equipped with Kits, Devices that provided facilities to the students for doing experiments that will enrich knowledge in hardware related areas. The most innovations features of the lab is the experiments involving motherboard chip level troubleshooting in the real time systems, which gives each student the hands-on experience using special tools. Each students get exposure to the internals of the computer system by assembling a system on his/her own.
