Faculty Development Programme

• Two day faculty training program was organized on the topic "NS2 Simulator" conducted by M/s. Vee Technologies Pvt. Chennai for the faculty members to enhance their skills in networking field.
• Two day faculty training program was organized on the topic "Programming Paradigm using Java' conducted by Prof.Dr.V.Ramachardran, Formerly Vice Chancellor, Anna University, Trichy for the faculty members to develop their skills in Programming field.

Conference

The National Level Conference "Advanced Databases, Knowledge and Networks" has been conducted on 24th April 2010. Dr.Kannan.A, Professor, Anna University has inaugurated the function.

Symposium

• Department of Computer Science and Engineering conducted a National Level Technical Symposium PHLEGON '10 on 25th September 2010.Mr. A. B. Imrankhan HR, Infosys Chennai inaugurated and delivered the special address. Events like Paper Presentation, Quiz, Debugging, Gaming etc., were conducted and more than 300 students from various colleges from all over the state participated. Dr. Anbarasu, Asst. Prof. Madras Institute of Technology, Chennai judged the paper presentation and declared the top two papers presented.
• The Department of Computer Science and Engineering has been conducted a National Level Technical Symposium "YAATRAA '10' on 10th March 2010.Mr.Imran Khan.A.B., H.R. Manager, Mahendra City, Chennai has presided over the function.
