Industrial Visit Organized

• 3rd IT 'A' Students went for an industrial tour to ISRO, Bangalore on 18th September 2009.
• 3rd IT ' B' Students went for an industrial tour to Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, Trivandrum on 12th September 2009.

Paper Presented by students in National Conference

• Vehicle Tracking and Disabling using Wireless Communication a paper authored by B. Gogulnath 3rd IT 'A' was selected for the International Multi Conference of Engineers and Computer Scientists 2010 (IMECS 2010) in Hong Kong organized by IAENG (International Association of Engineers).
• Vehicle Tracking and Disabling using Wireless Communication a paper authored by B. Gogulnath 3rd IT 'A' was selected for the World Academy of Science Engineering and Technology (WASET) in Paris, France.

Social Service to Society Students from third year IT visited and contributed service in Mercy Home, Holy Spirit Revival Church near Poonamallee.

• P. Vinoth & M. Vinoth 3rd IT 'B' presented a paper titled "Control of Nano Robots in Target Medium using Tredator" and won 2nd Prize on 21st February 2011 conducted by J.N.N Institute of Engineering, Chennai.

Short Term Course / Seminar Conducted

• OPENSOFT conducted a two day workshop about "PHP & MySQL" for 3rd year IT students on 25th & 26th of February 2011.
• Training Program on Sun Solaris operating system was conducted by Mr. R. Premkumar, Lect/CSE for 3rd CSE & IT students.
• Mr. Rajkumar from OPENSOFT gave a lecture about Open source software's to 3rd CSE students on 04th February 2011.
• Times organization gave a talk about preparation for the GRE examination to our 3rd CSE students on 18th March 2011.
• Mr. Sakthivel from SSI organization gave a talk about challenges in software implementation to final year students on 05th January 2011.

Short Term Course / Seminar Attended

• G.D. Gowtham 4th IT 'A' has attended the short term course about the topic "Cloud Computing" which is held as CDAC, Chennai on 20th December 2010 to 23rd December 2010.
• S. Naresh Kumar 6th IT 'A' has completed the course about the topic "E-Hack 2011 - 1 day Ethical Hacking Workshop" which is held as infySEC, Guduvancheri on 27th February 2011.
• All the 3rd CSE students attended "Career Guidance Program" on 26th February 2011 conducted by SSIET in Tidel Park, Chennai.
